Putting People First
Since 2020, Intro has slowly grown to serve labs in the Mid Atlantic. The company was founded because there were no recruitment firms in the region that focused on permanent placement of medical laboratory scientist. Our mission is to help connect laboratories and medical laboratory scientist with permanent opportunities. We believe that even though there is a staffing shortage, laboratories should have a partner that helps them find permanent people.
Meet the Team
Shawn founded Intro in August 2020 in the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic. During this time he noticed that there were no recruitment firms focused on permanent placements within the medical technologist community around the Mid Atlantic. Intro aims to serve laboratories by connecting them with medical technologist who are looking for advancement in their career. Today Intro serves more than 14 labs in the Mid Atlantic and has grown its database of candidates to 1000+ candidates.
When not helping labs Shawn loves to spend time on the water with his family crabbing and fishing the waters of the Chesapeake Bay.

Michael joined Intro in October of 2021 as the Social Media Coordinator. Responsible with planning, implementing, and monitoring all social media strategies to increase marketing and brand awareness efforts.
